Have you ever flipped through those perfectly designed home magazines and thought “Ugh, that one piece would add so much to my space, if only there was a store here in Charlotte that sold something like that”? Well, the mother daughter duo at Gratefully, Danielle have solved that problem.
Gratefully, Danielle is located at the Piper Glen Shopping Center. They carry colorful, useful products that will add tons of style to any room in your home. Seriously, any room. They have decor that would fit a modern nursery, a trendsetter’s living room, or your CLT obsessed teenager’s closet.
Most importantly the products they carry are fair trade from Guatemala, Peru, Vietnam, India and Africa. These products provide a source of income for people in all areas of the world who might not have the opportunity to work in a dignified and positive environment. They also provide support to the local economy by carrying items from Charlotte artisans and craftsmen.
When you walk into their shop it’s hard not to touch everything. The colors and textures of each candle, tray table, even the coffee table books were so aesthetically pleasing. But the price points were also surprisingly pleasing. Prices ranged from $8-$900. Perfect for putting together a gift basket for a new homeowner or getting something for that person who has everything.
My two favorite items in the store were the handmade stuffed animals from Mexico. Prices ranged from $20- $42.
As well as these gold metal baskets that can hold anything from newspapers, to blankets, to logs. The basket is sold in a medium, $52, and large, $75.
