Hey y’all, it was the weekend again…and as much as I love wearing sweats…we all need to have some casual chic comfortable outfits in our arsenal. After our late Friday nights of going out with our girlfriends, dates with our loves, or intimate nights with Netflix on our couch, we need outfits that are easily put together yet fashion forward all the same. This outfit answers the bell. Enjoy y’all <3
Now this shirt, this shirt is my absolute favorite. Why you ask? Well let me tell you a little something about this shirt. This shirt comes in a gazillion colors, slim or original fit, sleeved or sleeveless, the sleeves roll up and you can button them to stay in place, and this shirt is great for the office or a casual chic weekend outfit. Another plus, it is super comfortable! Get yourself an array of Portofino Shirts from Express.
All hail the Skinny Jean! But seriously, the skinny jean is so versatile. It looks fabulous with heels, sandals, your favorite casual sneaker, and most importantly for this time of year, drumroll please…..BOOTS. They are perfect to wear with riding boots, over the knee boots, ankle boots, rain boots if you are in the south this time of year, and snow boots if you are in the great white north. The pair I am wearing here comes from J.Crew Factory, and you can purchase them here.
Or, in this case…minus the leather jacket. I have found upon moving away from the great white North of Wisconsin, that a leather jacket is essential in a city like Charlotte. It is the perfect in between temperature jacket and fierce as ever. Express currently makes this jacket in a wide variety of colors. You can find it here.
Last but certainly not least, a novelty necklace to complete your look. My favorite that I wore but isn’t featured is a crystal key necklace from Henri Bendel. That particular necklace is no longer available, but here is another necklace from Henri Bendel I love.
I hope you all enjoyed this beautiful weekend in the Queen City. I know I most certainly did. From learning a new skill, to time with friends, date night, and some good food and wine…I would call it a success. Rocking casual chic all weekend. I hope all of you are ready for an amazing week! Talk to you all again very soon.
